So, we opened up some walls in our living room and added central AC.

I knew that the ductwork and two structural steel beams would have to be "boxed in." But the resulting ceiling soffits ended up much bigger than I first imagined. They run basically through the center of the living room.

How would you paint these to make them visually disappear? All wall color? All ceiling color? Sides wall color and bottoms ceiling color? Something else?

The ceiling and trim in the rest of the room will be white and the walls will be Benjamin Moore Bleeker Beige.

P.S. What's done is done and I don't have time nor money to change it. I'm hoping to make the best if it, count it as a learning experience, learn to not notice the imperfection, and move on with my life. So please, no harsh criticism ;-)
