Just wanted to point out that in the lotto thread under each photo is a link (in green) that will take you to the Quilter's Cache website where you will find detailed instructions for each block. For example, if you scroll down to the Sep photo and click on the green "blue chains" it will take you to the website.

And, late in the year Sue will post the whole bunch for 2017 in one post. She makes all those sample blocks herself and takes all the pictures. So she posts when she gets all that hard part done. You can copy patterns then or wait and do it month by month. She also posts the details individually by month at the start of each month but many of us already are prepared because we got it back in December.

And throughout the year someone usually "bumps up" the original posting for all to see. I like reviewing the original post to see what fabrics I have on hand and what I may need to get. I also like to make four blocks, send in the best 3 and keep the fourth for myself. Then someday I'll put them together and have a "year in quilt blocks" quilt! It's a great group of quilters and I've learned so much from them.
