"Titanium" is just a color, I haven't seen anything that describes it as a different type of granite. You might want to read this article, about the hardness of various stone products. Once you know a little more about various materials, go back & find out if your "Titanium Granite" is anything more than a color, and whether it affects the hardness compared to other granites.

You can test the hardness against another sample by putting a puddle of water on it and comparing how fast it is absorbed. The softer the granite the more quickly it absorb. There is variation in hardness among granites.

I am toldf it is a stone a geologist is considers to be a schist, and mica is abig part of its makeup????? Does that make a difference?

Mica makes it more sparkly.
