tibbrix - How do you do that? My DH and I are looking at a plain red brick house that we would consider painting an off white, should we purchase. I would love to see what it would look like that way.

I really like your color combo, but hopefully that stained railing will get painted white.

nhb, I use a free program called colorjive. You just move the pic onto your desktop, then upload it onto Colorjive, pic a color, then paint. To change it to a new color, you just click on palette on the circle of the color you chose, pick another color, and it changes what you've painted to the new color.

It's fairly limited. Photoshop and those kinds of programs are much more extensive. I was surprised it worked as well as it did on the pic of this house because the siding is fairly dark and usually painting over dark in pic is hard. I couldn't have done it ha squiddles wanted to try very light colors. White is really hard on any color other than white.
