I would like to know the actual name of the ground pebble. It is a beautiful warm sand color.

    There are two kinds of bamboo...."Running" and "Clumping". It sounds like you have a Running Bamboo. Research "running" Bamboo. The new shoots come up in April and May. It should always be planted with a Barrier. I would suggest digging a 2-3 foot channel in front of bamboo and inserting a barrier. Then try to remove runners in yard. they are typically only about 6" deep.
