How to Make Hypertufa Pumpkins - It's Fun

I made some hypertufa pumpkins this year and I love them. They turned out so nice and the definition in the faces was great. I used old treat or candy buckets (plastic). I think this could work for my spheres also.

There were solid decor objects. I didn't make them as planters but it is possible to alter them as you wish.

I have a video and a blog post about it if you are interested. I used Buff colorant in these in a very strong mixture, but you can see the color is not strong. If you want deep orange, I suggest painting with latex paint when dry.

On the blog post is a downloadable chart showing the amounts you need per pumpkin. Pop on over and see all the photos.

My blog post with a video too.
