I just removed a play structure and trampoline from my backyard. I am widening the pine straw beds in front of the fence/pines and replacing the sod. The pine trees will be trimmed as well. I want to add color and interest to the yard. The yard is shaded in the morning and gets plenty of afternoon sun. I am thinking hydrangeas and azaleas, but welcome all suggestions -- where to plant them / how many / how big????
