Just wanted to thank everyone on this forum! At long last I have some (actually lots) spikes and blooms. I also have more on the way but the flowers haven't developed fully yet! It would no have been possible without the great advice here. Moth orchids are no longer my nemesis. Slipper orchids and cattleyas however are still an elusive bunch.
