She's very beautiful and you got 3 flowers!! I lost mine several years ago.

I should think her pollen would work, I successfully used Autumn Pink Lady on Limona and have a few seedlings...very similar plants I think.

It looks like you have some viable pollen there, my Evergreen that just bloomed with 8 flowers produced no pollen, the anthers were all dried up. I don't know if this is a summer thing as I know I have lots of frozen Evergreen from last winter.

I"m sure you'll freeze it anyway until the right recipient shows up.

I agree...she is absolutely precious and I would definitely store her pollen for some creative mixes.

I have a couple of pot of Mrs. Garfield but they haven't done much for a few years. Just about two weeks ago I gave everybody an "aggressive" fertilizer regimen of fulvic/humic acid with Jungle Grow mixed in and they seem to have responded with some good leaf growth. Let's hope they respond with some flowers soon :-)))

Kristi...when my Mrs. G bloomed before she went to Hippie heaven, I tried using her pollen on whatever diploid I had then. Nada! You can try it again though and on some triploids. My H. retic hybrids are loving and actively growing in this heat. No blooms for me though so I just repotted them, fertilized and seperated the bulblets. Hopefully I'll get some blooms in spring.

Donna...I tried your method of growing my "So so" Japanese ones in clear plastic cups. It's nice seeing them grow roots instead of just guessing if they are alive or dead! Haha!
