Not this time of the year. You might put up another feeder. I have three and they still fight. Do you have some that stay all year? Mine usually leave in October, but one year(2014) I had one stay until Jan 7th! I had two feeders for him. One out and one in the house so it wouldn't freeze. I would swap them in the morning before daylight.

hi, taka. Hummers are aggressive, and they aren't going to stop buzzing and chasing each other. I enjoy the chasing, the whole yard comes to life as they fly around at 60 miles per hour. I love it.

They do stop to eat, and this time of year are fattening up for the migration across the gulf. So they're eating, and sometimes they even are hungry enough to sit down two at a feeder, but like the old cigarette commercial, they'd rather fight than quit. I think they enjoy it-- joie de vivre-- because I often see a third one join a chase just because they're chasing.

A lot of these are juveniles-- just newly hatched this year. Think a bunch of boys out at recess.
