Weeping Atlas Cedar - Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca Pendula'

Does not look very happy...rather listless and dull.

It look as if it has some kind of needle blight. I gave up trying to grow Cedrus atlanticas including the 'Glauca Pendula' because of that. It's becoming quite a problem here in western Washington.

This was at the Drs office in Asheville, NC

They don't love the humid summers I fear.

They do okay in the SE, although nowhere near as good looking (lush) as those in UK and PNW. That one may need a little more sun, though I don't know what the aspect is. It may be they aren't happy with our humid summers, coming from summer dry N Africa.

They do well enough in the humid summers of NJ. This past spring and summer there has been no rain so we might as well be in North Africa. LOL.
