I am not giving up on my container pumpkin....but it has been a struggle. The full-sized pumpkin plant has one pumpkin hanging in there (about twice the size of a softball). The vine is ugly and has quit growing on many branches. I have had several baseball-sized fruit abort. I am hoping this latest one will continue.....Next year I think I will go in-ground for the big pumpkins. This 15 gal nursery pot is just a lot of work (watering and feeding).
