Please note that the World Health Organization list glyphosate products as a possible carcinogen, a product that may cause cancer in humans. It may take the USEPA another 20 years before it comes to the same conclusion.

Key words: 'possible' and 'may' :-) Salt in a high enough dosage is a possible carcinogen as well.

FWIW, many gardeners find the selective use of herbicides to be extremely beneficial, specially when dealing with some very persistant and difficult to remove weeds. Their use is a personal and very situational choice. Calling them "plant poisons" is unnecessarily inflammatory and imposing one's personal opinion on the issue is not at all helpful.

Thanks for your post gardengal. There are a some plants that are impossible to remove or contain without something other than a shovel.
