These are 2 pitcher plants I got in May. They're double potted- an outer pot to hold water (a couple inches in a rocky/sandy base) & an inner pot that drains, simulating bog conditions w/o the worry of mosquitoes breeding in standing water. I empty the water periodically so it doesn't stagnate.

I've read about overwintering and seen suggestions to keep them in a garage, or in a basement, or leave them outside. I'm in z7 central VA where we can have periods of temps in the single digits in late Dec through Feb. I could do a garage (unheated, dark) or basement (cool, near a window). If I bring them in, do they go dormant and do I water?
