Help me identify these eggs!

From a distance, it just looks like mud or dirt smudges all over our back porch (mostly on the ceiling), but up close you can tell its little tiny eggs. We had a bug guys come and he couldn't identify them but he sprayed something..I rinsed off the porch and then today they are back. In guessing moth eggs? Anyway to get rid of them? When they hatch, they are like little tiny worms (posted picture below)...please help,

    Moths do lay eggs in that pattern; is their any night lighting near there? You might try keeping the area dark for some weeks until the adult moths have died.
