I'm not as familiar with that variety in particular but from what I've googled it's got marginal hardiness for this area (minimum zones 6 to 7, which depending on your microclimate and topography you may be in a lower zone with colder winter temps). If you want to try it, you'd have to put it in a sheltered spot where it doesn't get a lot of wind. I don't think it would like full sun in the NV summer; partial shade would be a safer bet. Multiple nurseries claim 3 to 4 feet high, and they advise use as a border plant so that seems right.
