Kitchen remodel. Range top will be: WOLF 48" SEALED BURNER RANGETOP - 4 BURNERS, INFRARED CHARBROILER AND INFRARED GRIDDLE: SRT484CG

I'd like a wall mounted hood (prfereably 54" x 27" deep), ceiling height is 112". I have been looking for recommendations but can not find much. Costs seem to be all over the place, from $1200-$5000. Of course, I'd like to spend the least amount possible but don't want to install crap either. I'm thinking that 900 CFM should be about right but details still need to be worked out with duct design, etc. Contractor said 8" duct will be easier but could do 10" if needed. If 10", estimate duct length with maybe 1-2 bends will be < 20'.

House is 100 yrs old, windows will be open for makeup air (live in San Francisco so mild enough climate all year around). A friend has a vent-a-hood that he says is quiet and likes but it's over $4,500 US. I have some time as cabinets won't be installed until mid-late November.

Wolf range specs (at most I imagine up to 4 might be used at once):

1 - 9,200 Btu Burner

1 - 15,000 Btu Burner

1 - 20,000 Btu Burner

1 - 15,000 Btu Griddle

Most important features:

- Cost, general quality, quiet, ease of cleaning .

A couple of things I have noted:

- The professional Wolf hood I saw (48" wide) in the store was very noisy so probably will not purchase theirs, and it is costly.

- The 2 below caught my eye (kitchenhoods.ca) but are made in Canada so not sure about importing issues, etc. Seem well designed(although only 24" depth),

quiet(sones advertized at least) and are pretty cheap ( less than $1500 US). So, any comments about this company , products, and shipping to US is appreciated.
