Using stock pots, etc for BWB

I'd like to can some tomato sauce in something smaller than my large canner that holds 7 quarts of filled jars. I have a much smaller tall pot that will hold 4 pint jars and another that will hold 4 quart jars. Both are tall enough to have at least an inch of water covering the jars.

As I understand things, I can use these pots if I put a metal rack or a folded dish towel in the bottom to keep the jars from setting directly on the bottom....and still have room to cover the tops with 1 inch of water. Is that correct?

Also, do I use the same processing time, in this case a BBB recipe calling for 35 minutes for pints or 40 minutes for quarts? Or does using the smaller sized pot change the time? I think I'm wondering this since reading about people wanting to pressure can in small pressure cookers who are finding out that that is a bad idea. I'm thinking that is a completely different set of conditions than BWB, but want to double check.

Also, do you have any suggestions for good places to find small racks? I have one I plan to use...but would like another one that covers more of the larger pot's bottom.
