My opinion is that since they are fine on the vine in that heat, they should be fine now.

I agree,they are perfectly safe to eat. I believe the quality is going to deteriorate quickly, though, so I'd be doing something with them, Pronto.

I’m thinking about all the roadside farmers stands where some vegetables will sit out in the heat and sun for days. One place near here makes me nuts because they store their sweetcorn in a large bin, out in the bright hot sun, all day… and night too if it wasnt sold. I made the mistake of buying their corn just once. :)
