Wish my Lowes had plants that looked like that one! I struggle with growing vandals successfully, so I've no answer to your query. I'll watch for others to chime in with suggestions.

I lived in NY most of my life and could not successfully flower them there even with full summer sun outdoors, lights indoors over winter.

I live in Florida now and gave them a try again and they flower very easily. The only advice I can offer is to increase the sun. SE should be good but if you haven't been able to flower them in the past, my guess is they are not getting enough.

Some Vandas will flower with partial shade but most need to be blasted. I grow mine in full East sun with afternoon (West) sun until about 3pm. I do not fertilize regularly, hardly at all sadly!

Try cutting back on the fertilizer and try to increase the light intensity to see if that works.

I'm in Boston and have been able to get them to flower using full sun in a sunroom. I don't use lights at all. They stay outdoors in summer and indoors once temps dip to the 50sF. In the sunroom temps are 50-90F and get sun all day. Humidity varies, but I try for 50% in the sunroom. I rarely fertilize and instead water them daily.

Sun rooms are wonderful. I had a sunroom which wasn't heated in NY. I could keep orchids out there until the temps dropped consistently below 45 degrees. Lots of sun and would warm during the day but would freeze at night.

I had a sunny living room, but not bright enough to flower them. They grew well but only one flowered over many years. I tried lights which worked for Catts, Dends, Phals but not Vandas.

You are lucky, suza, tough orchids to flower up north and in shady southern yards.

I have a family member who grows Vandas in Florida but deals with a lot of shade. They flower sporadically and he's about to give up on them.

It definitely gets full sun. They definitely get full sun I should say. They're hanging up SE patio. It's my only source of light besides the "study" room which is right next to the patio but inside, window is facing the same way. Same sunlight but more restricted because of the windows and wall. I do have some grow light bulbs.... so basically just cut down on the fertilizer u think? Stay watering daily?

Keep doing the same. I live in Florida and grow vandas. I would add to the fertilizer Maxi-crop. It is Norwegian seaweed juice. It is a natural root stimulator. And it works. Sometimes it can take several years for the first bloom. See if there is any evidence of previous blooms. But patience might be the best advice...

They look very healthy! Like shaved monkey suggested, give them some maxi-crop. I would stop fertilizing. Also, try soaking their roots in the maxi-crop, maybe your just misting them isn't enough. I live in PA and I've had mine bloom a few times, she never goes outside, but sits on a window sill and under lights as the days grow shorter.

Shaved money's advised on the maxi-crop has made a HUGE difference on all of my orchids!
