Hi all,

We're building a new home in St. Augustine, FL and a pool is a mandate. My desire based on esthetics is for a 26' pool that fits within this 31' lanai as I don't want to go past the right side of the house and I don't want a screened cage in front of the kitchen window where I had hoped to be able to gaze out to the palmettos and other greenery. I know 26' is a short pool and I could just forget about the kitchen window view and go across another 16 feet and have a 40' pool. I'm sure I'd still see greenery through the lanai screen but it won't be the same. I do love swimming but just cooling off and chilling by the pool is the primary goal. Thoughts?
