Suggestion: move the pantry to the opposite side of the kitchen (next to the door). The dining space will be enlarged this way. Shift the kitchen and island "down" toward the dining area and reconfigure it as a reverse "L" by adding a peninsula that separates the kitchen from the dining area. Move the sink to the island, and the fridge to where it makes most sense (an area adjacent to the newly relocated pantry, perhaps).

Most of the entire layout you posted is not really optimal. Your foyer and dining room seem to be one room, and you can see all the way through to the back of the family room when entering the home. The kitchen, as you are aware, is very awkwardly laid out--not only is the work triangle too big but it's not centered. Was this plan done by a licensed architect? I would rethink it, as well as hiring a certified kitchen designer to help you get the best kitchen layout you can.

Get a kitchen designer this is not a good plan on many levels you are spending all this money on a home that works make sure the room needing the most function is done right and FYI architects in my experience are the worst kitchen designers
