Remove the shutters, richer house color, do not paint the brick. Do not add porch. The landscape needs work near the house. I would look for a gray green color.

I agree. If you really do t like the brick, a better option is to side over it. Painting brick is a lifetime sentence of constant maintenance.

if the interior, location, and topography of yard work for you, go for it. The outside could look really cute with a porch extending to the right, the exterior all one color, thin out and update the shrubs on the exterior, and I would also update the walkway.
