What is your budget per stool? What is the age of the people using the stools?

I actually found a cherner stool chair, so brought it home and it put it boxes, and didn't like the look. Decided it's better to go with something minimal and backless. Looking at the svelte stool in gunmetal by industry west, or a simple steel or metal stool like the swiss polished stool now. Would appreciate any thoughts:)

We have three small children. Likely up to $300 per stool.

Personally, I find our backless stools uncomfortable for me. Bought ours for the look, mistake.

on a side note I think your chandelier needs to be turned

Yet another comment landing in the wrong place, Houzz!

I hate to ask about the lighting over table is it round or oblong? Seems way over sized for room and table...love the design of the fixture but I think it is way to big??

anyway.....

here are a few counter stool suggestions....I like the first one of the two you posted.

Thanks so much:) It is a round Robert Abbey Bling Chandelier. Inspiration from a photo on decorpad. I do really like it in the room. It has a modern edge to a relatively mid century/casual room.

I would love to buy the bassam tractor stools, or nuevo living makes a replica kami stool, but the prices are high. I'm wondering if anyone has seen a cheaper replica version?

Thanks for your help!

These are nice. Do you know who makes them? Thank you:)

These from CB look similar to the wood style

they also have an acrylic stool

Thank you - both really nice!

Because of how oversized the chandelier is.......I would hang it higher like in the inspiration picture...sometimes you have to break the rules!! It will give a more open feel In your dining space.

Why are you not getting this one you posted? I think it will work very nice in your space..

Home Interiors - I think she wanted something for half that price...if so, I think the CB2 option that was posted by Sunnysmom could work.

I like your first CB2 option

I would get that one but the seat is very big (18X18). I read some of the reviews and thought it would be oversized. Thoughts?

I'm talking about the wayfair tahoe one. Thanks!

I have the stools Grover posted in black and love them. Comfortable, have a low back but tuck under a 12" overhang perfectly out of the way.

the wooden CB2

How about the original swiss polished counter stool? Or would you stick with wood?

Or should I go with the tahoe? I was just worried about the large seat size (18x18)

18" should be a very comfortable size...and fit just fine for your large counter area.

I just brought something similar in size home, they are pretty big. The ones that are about 17 to 12 or a bit nicer, I think?
