Window covering

I have purchased room darkening panels with grommets for my bedroom windows with curved blackout curtain rods. The windows are about 70" wide and 44" high (including 4" trim). Should I mount them close to the ceiling as the panels are 84" long & 108" wide. My ceiling is 97". Or should they be centred between the ceiling and the floor, or should I cut and hem them to 63"?

Ideally, they should be hung as close to the ceiling as possible (depending on window placement) and about 1/2" from the floor. Don't cut and hem.
