Wow, poor thing looks so desiccated . Funny thing about those, remember how I showed you the mother was a floppy, sloppy hot mess? Well, all the babies are much sorter and all upright. I think the original grower didn't have them under optimum conditions. Do you have root tone? Maybe that would help root production. It will be fine though. Just give it time, light and water.

That is amazing. I guess some of the cultivars are really tough. Just like my silver queen that would die completely back and yet form new growth.

Vitorama, I felt so bad because it was gifted. I thought I was doing everything right, but hopefully I have a second chance! I don't have any root tone, so I'll just love on it like all my other cuttings. I sprayed it a bit to give it some moisture, but no real watering yet.

Yes, it looks thirsty. The whole bottom section is root mass with 2 roots trying/starting to grow just below the pup. I would peel off the dead bits of old leaves & put it back in the pot, give it a drink.
