Perhaps a white bookcase approximately the same size as the window?

What's on the wall behind the couch?

It's open to the kichen on one side and on the other is patio door, open space, buffet, and then stairs. See pictures below. And outside the living room windows is the beach. Thanks!!!!

Is there anything behind the left side of the fireplace? Opening another window would be great

Great room with all the windows ...... another window would just add to it ..

Good idea but there is a room on the other side of the wall

If there is a room on the other side of the wall then thats a little issue. Perhaps closing the window thats there and opening a few sky lights. Nothing will be symmetrical because of the angle of the ceiling and the window. 2 or 3 sky lights would be incredible

Book shelf ... in white .... good luck

Thank you for responses I have 6 skylights in this area

How about a solid drapery/curtain or roman shade in the same color as your wall to downplay that window? Of course, you'll still have plenty of windows and light.
