My lemon tree leaves are pointing upwards...is this normal?

The top half of the tree is fairly new - those leaves came in a few months ago. This is a dwarf Meyer lemon tree.

Also, we just moved into this place this week so please don't judge the bad lawn...I'm trying to remove it all.
