Never disappoints Mary lu. It just gets better and better :), after seeing yours I went looking for one, found 'Gibraltar'. I had to move mine where I had it planted wasn't working out so right now it's growing in a tub waiting to be replanted in it's forever home next month.

Schoolhouse, did your BC not do well? Mine is a little smaller than it used to be, but otherwise no problems with it.

Sweet monkey, it's common name is bush clover. Mine is called Pink Fountain. It can grow in zones 4-9.

thats pretty. We've had such a strange summer with all that heat and here's a weird thing. My sweet peas only recently grew and bloomed. I had planted them out in spring and they remained dormant all early summer until mid summer. Now strange...

Yes it grew very well and bloomed nicely, but I didn't like it's habit of flopping and I could see it was going to out grow the space where I planted it. So I finally dug it out, the roots were really deep! I basically pitched it. But in the Spring, there was still enough left in that spot that it came right back. Oh and now I remember that the shoots also had a habit of getting nipped by frost when coming up in the Spring. I would have to go out and cover it.

The nursery where I purchased it stopped offering BC and I haven't seen it anywhere around here since.

Oh, yours in full sun is sooooo gorgeous. I planted mine in a spot where the trees have really grown in and it's in quite a bit of shade. It blooms beautifully and I have to stake it a little bit, but yours is the finest specimen I've ever seen bar none. I've never seen one in a botanical garden come close to yours. Thanks so much for sharing a picture of it again this year. It never disappoints!

Sorry but I just saw your post NHBabs. No I have never had a problem with seedlings. We do have mulch around it.
