Red Sunset or Sun Valley In Charlotte NC

I have read that red maples don't have vibrant Fall color in the South. Would this include Charlotte? I have read that Sun Valley "glows" in the Fall. That sounds beautiful. Also, is either of these better suited to the Charlotte, NC? From what I have read, I like both of these and can't decide!

Both are selections cultivated specifically for good fall color - much better than the species. Both should do fine in NC - Acer rubrum has a huge natural range that includes all of the southeast down into Florida.
