Searching for 4" cabinet pulls that need 4 screws

Hello Fellow Houzzers!

I need to find classic well made cabinet pulls for kitchen cabinets that will fit with the existing holes. Center on center is 4 inches. That is the easy part. But...there are two holes on each side not one. The top holes are about 0.75" above the bottom holes. I've found loads of 4" pulls online but they appear to need two holes not 4. I did find these Schaub 742-PN pulls but no information on how far apart the two holes on each side are.

And although it might seem like the obvious solution, I do not want to fill the holes and drill new ones.

These might work: Restoration Hardware "Aubrey" pull

I have the 8 inch ones and the holes are close to 3/4 apart up and down. They are a smidge under 3/4 inches center on center, something like 10-11/16ths inches.

That Schaub pull is my favorite pull. The two front screws are decorative only. There is only one screw on each end for installation.

another option might be to find a pull that uses one center screw on each end for installation but has a wide enough end to cover the unused holes. Does that make sense?

If you cannot find one that fits, you can cover old holes with a backplate. They come in many styles. They do help protect the handle area of the door from wear.

Ilovered--thank you for letting me know...though that is disappointing. What are the best options for figuring out how hardware actually attaches?

Can anyone recommend a brick and mortar store in the Boston area?

jhmarie--thanks for that idea. Good to know if I can't find hardware..,but something must fit since it was there originally

Not a brick and mortar store but they do have a lot to choose from. They may also be able to get you what you need.

We sold our house and I wanted to update the hardware first. It was an odd 7" center to center. I ordered one of many pulls in different styles until I found one that was just right. I was stuck with singles of many pulls but the update was worth it.
