I'm guessing a Eucalyptus, would like to see the leaves a little closer.

Annies right, Erythrina. That awesome bark gives it away!

    that tree IS incredible

I would recommend protecting the bark from damage that often occurs from the friction/rubbing from the stiff chain. You can create a sleeve using flexible hose - Girdling can occur if too tight. Looks great

I got the name. That ghost gum. Native from Aussie.

Sorry. It isn't a eucalypt, or ghost gum. The leaves are not eucalypts. Don't know what it might be, maybe a coral?

I believe it is a Coal Tree

It is a coral tree. It is 80 years old.

Because it was rather neglected before we bought the property, it developed interesting shoots. It requires quarterly shaping and lacing by an arborist. It was a gorgeous element in the yard and the reason I bought the house initially. Inside the new house, there are several portholes that frame and view the tree.
