Wow Marie, what a beautiful plant and amazing caudex!

Huge and beautiful caudex Marie!!! And so abundant blooming! Beautiful!

Goodness me Marie! That's one heck of a plant you have there, the blooms and then, that caudex, wow!

It's on a par with the plant I had GWeb put up as the illustration on the main Adenium forum page (back in the good old days, lol) I'm sure you can recall it? It belonged to Nancy/puglvr, but we don't seem to have those pics on the main page any more do we?

Have you done any root manipulation or has Mother Nature been solely responsible for that lovely tangled root/caudex formation?

Gill, I remembered Nancy/Puglvr. I wish she comes back to Houzz.

Yes, her plant was the one we used for display.

I didn't do anything for the root. Mother Nature takes care. I haven't raise it for 2-3 years now. It is getting too heavy for me to raise, so I gave it osmocote without raising the caudex.

Next year I will continue to graft onto the branches didtn't take this year.

Very beautiful plant! The caude/base, with all those fantastic, convoluted, roots is very interesting, especially since you will be probably keep exposing more of the roots with subsequent re-pottings.
