Tile trim question

We are renovating our very small 1950s bathroom. We are doing 3x6 white subway tile halfway up the wall and for the shower enclosure. We are not sure how to handle the trim. We want to use some type of bullnose tile, but can't decide whether we should just have a top row of 3x6 bullnose, or whether we should do a strip of thinner bullnose (or even very thin quarter round tile). The tile will all be white.

Grateful for any opinions.

Buy some same sample tiles and lay out the options, much easier to choose when you can see how each looks.

Agreed. Get some samples and play around with it. Also search for inspiration photos, there are lots of options.

I used a mix of chair rail, quarter round, and bullnose when tiling my bath.

Another option is to use a metal schluter strip for trim - this is a very contemporary look. Photos attached are from an open house in my area - six ensuite bathrooms all with same / similar finishes ($4M home - I can dream).

Flooring is a wood-look porcelain tile, countertops are engineered quartz, wall tiles are subway tiles, black accent tile on backsplash and shower floor in master bathrooms (there were two MB's) is sliced pebble with dark grout. Only two rows of subway tiles on the walls in this house, not half-way up.
