Calling all recreational bocce call players!

We are planning to install a turf bocce ball court but aren't sure what grass height is best. We don't like the look of putting green turf and don't want the DG because there is a pool nearby and don't want the DG to make it's way into the pool. We will be installing a Tiger Turf product in other areas of the yard that has a blade height of 1.875". We are thinking this is too tall to play bocce ball so we considering the pet turf for the bocce court as it is 1" tall. Any thoughts on which blade height would work best?
