I like the look... but do you have a compass rose pattern for the centre of the floor (single tile or 4 tiles assembled together)? I want to do something like this (see picture) all in vinyl...

IMO that detail only looks good in tile or stone floor I think in vinyl it will just look like a cheap copy

That's not something we currently offer unfortunately.

@ Drew....to get this look in vinyl is going to be a NIGHTMARE. Your extremely well paid for "artistic" installer (ahem....I would assume you will pay 3 - 4 TIMES the normal price of install) could get this done....but it will be CUSTOM.

You will pick a sheet vinyl....and then your installer will CUSTOM cut a perfect circle out of the vinyl. They will then take 3-4 other "colours" (you will purchase all of these sheets just to get 40 - 50 cut pieces....should cost you double the normal material costs).

Like a wood or stone inlay....your vinyl installer will create the template for the inlay and then cut those pieces. Each piece will be WELDED into place (heat weld or epoxy weld....either way it will be painful).

All the welds will be visible....and probably quite annoying. But that's OK...your installer will get you to sign a waiver stating that "perfection" is not possible. And you will be stuck with a less than perfect "vinyl medallion".

The inspiration photo you have shown is a hand cut, hand laid marble MOSAIC - as in the same floors you see in 3000 year old Italian villas! It would be unfair to ask vinyl to look like a $10K marble mosaic floor.

It is possible to get a medallion added to a RAW cork floor - the stain master (again it would be one of the most expensive installers in N. America) would stain a medallion into the cork and then add the finish. They will NOT be able to get the white, gray, black colours. It is far too difficult to get white stain onto a site-stained cork floor. Only factories can get the white on cork.

If you like the look, you might be able to get Marmoleum to custom make/custom design/custom create a medallion like this for your LINOLEUM floor.

Good luck. Marble will be easier to find for this.

These are ridiculous comments. Someone just needs to make one (or four or so) vinyl tiles WITH THE PATTERN ALREADY ON THEM so that it is cost effective. That is what Drew was asking. Is there no vinyl tile with patterns for this type of thing? BTW, I have just started searching for the same thing ...
