what type of tree is the bonsai?

    The tree is a Wateri Scotts Pine. Probably 30 years old in the picture. The bark was polished a year or two before the photo. Not hardy in the south. It's not a Bonsai but a smaller full sized tree, pruned in an Asian style. See shin-bokunursery.com Best,
