I love my rug. I have runners also. It has tons of colors in it. I can't really tell what color the hall is? My walls are really light gray/white. I ended up putting another rug with mine because I wanted all my furniture on the rugs and my room is big. Hope the picture helps with the color. It's very bright, but faded at the same time.

The rug looks so great. I really love your room! Our walls are "putty", kind of a darker gray. I think I might like that rug in our living room too, which I'm trying to redesign. Where did you get your couch? I'm also thinking of a sectional/chaise. I've just attached my living in case you're interested :)

Elisa thank you! You have a very nice room. I like my couch I just wish it was a little lighter brown or a gray but I couldn't find anything. I could see this rug in your room. As you can see the rug has turquoise, mustard, red, pink, gray, taupe, green, and some orange in it. It just depends what color you want to pull from it. I got all my rugs at Overstock and Wayfair! The big rug is 9x12. They come fairly fast too. It was under $500, but there are other brands that are more expensive. Mine is the Safavieh Monaco multi rug.

Get art you need art on the walls, then the hall would not look so bare and a runner would not be needed...your floors are beautiful. You could look at just doing two runners instead of one super long runner.

They definitely need art! The hallway seems a little tight so wasn't sure what to put on the walls. Mirror, family pictures or art? I tried a collage of picture frames but that failed. The idea of two runners might also work great - it will give it some colour and comfort but also show the floors. Thanks!
