The light flowers are really great against the dark leaves. I have been enjoying contrasts in violets a lot lately.

I just love this one. I am curious, do the white blooms hold up as long as their pigmented counterparts, or are they a bit more short lived?

The flowers have substance... means the petals are fleshy enough. The thin petaled flowers wilt fast, bruise easily - so they are for enjoyment on the shelf - you do not move them. If you think about Optimaras - the flowers are very durable.
