Sunflowers(many sizes and colors),Rosemary,Poppies(many colors and sizes),Cacti,ToadFlax,Blue Flax(you can use flax seeds from healthfood/grocery as long as they are non-irradiated),Coriander/Cilantro(buy seeds same as flax or even from spice rack),Ganzia.Many seeds or cacti starts you can get for really low prices on Ebay,Amazon, or Online seed exchanges in your area. Daylilies are great too and drought tolerant,spread,many come in different sizes,colors and some are scented. Many plants/flowers will reseed themselves if left to dry on the plant. Using a drip system saves on water too and they are easy to install by yourself,some even just hook up to spigot so you can just turn them on or off as you need it. Have fun and dig in the dirt!
