I was there for a while, putting a persian lime and washington navel on my cart... the off... then back on my cart... It finally came to the fact that only one tree would fit in my sedan.

Hiro, great deal! Our HD never has citrus deals because they come from a local vendor. Supposedly, HD doesn't make any money from the citrus sales... they make their money from the space that the vendor rents to sell their trees. On a couple of occasions, I have seen a citrus tree that looks unhealthy and I've asked if it will be going to the clearance rack. Both times, they've said no.. they can't adjust the price because it isn't their tree. Congrats on your find!!!

I was told that today while I tried to haggle the price down further to 25$, haha.

Another plant vendor at HD told me that I could probably haggle down the price if I saw the citrus vendor stop by... I feel like I may become notorious stalking plant vendors at HD...ha! In any case this was the first time I've seen citrus at HD marked down. Pleasant surprise!

They had Bears limes and navel oranges of the same size at 30$ too... so tempting...

NYC Home Depots need to get with the program. I wish they would have citrus and possibly other exotics.
