Winter citrus care

last modified: 9 years ago

I have 2 dwarf citrus plants a lemon and a Lime last winter I almost lost the lemon tree. It did great up untill about the last 3 weeks before I was able to move it outside spring. I had to cut it way back and pray luckily it did come back. The lime has flourished over the summer and did great over the winter as well. I have invested in some new lights and decided to winter them in my east facing window this year rather the the west facing one I used last year. What else can I be doing to prepare for winter. I water once a week and fertilize every other week.
