I love how you opened up the space!

Thank you - - the space has wonderful high ceilings with great architectural interest so removing the walls made the whole thing soar - - it went from dark and dank to open and light - - we were so happy - thank you.

Looks fantastic! Love how open the kitchen looks and touches of blue and gray in the backsplash.

Cool, Clean colors - - funny- at KBIS a year or two ago, they said blue was one of the least used colors in the kitchen - - but it sure looks good here doesn't it?

Unfortunately you can't see it in this photograph but it is conveniently located on the right side across from the island next to that bank of drawers in the foreground - - It's not "in your face" which is a vast improvement, wouldn't you agree?

The cabinets were made out of alder - - - I wish you could see the grain match - the cabinet makers did a great job.

You are right, WS Granite Tops - the counters are in fact Cambria Whitney and they were fabricated by Pacifica Tile and Granite in Redondo Beach.
