I'm sorry you and you're puppies are going through this, I'm not a vet but it's my understanding that if the pups have ghiardia, they should also be taking an antibiotic and I don't believe Pyrantal is an antibiotic. I would suggest you take the pups to a different vet for a second opinion as it could be that they need a different medication or treatment plan.

If you aren't keeping them apart and quarantined from each other, it could also be that they are reinfecting each other. I would be very concerned about malnutrition, dehydration as well as harsh side effects from the medicine. Drugs like that can be very hard on their little bodies. Please go to a secondary vet and because of the vomiting and diarrhea please make sure that you're feeding them something that will help them from a dietary aspect.

Metronidazole is commonly prescribed by the Vet for Giardia.

As a former breeder, my Vet always made sure I had a :jug" of "Metro" at my home should a litter and Mom become infected.
