oh yeah, lots. 1 ditch the recliner they are large, expensive for replacement - you have to do the whole thing not bits. how about 2 -1.5 chairs 1 or 2 ottomans and then nice floor cushions or child size chairs? don't forget a comfortable rug.

i also want to think about getting you away from the wall. but what do you think of the above?

I'd put the desk at center back of the sectional and move the sectional towards the kitchen. Then there would be room for another chair in the living area. I'd put cubbies or a chest on either side of the desk to keep things symmetrical. Your back wouldn't be to all the action but likely you would need to figure out how to neatly hide work in progress.

I like the general layout as is. The sectional where it's positioned in your picture does a nice job of creating two separate zones. For extra storage, how about a couple low bookshelves or matching cradenzas to go along the back of the sectional facing the office area. Then you could do some shelves above the desk.

I would turn the sectional so that it faces the blank wall then put the T.V on that wall with tons of storage made by using the Besta system from Ikea for an amazing look too I would put your desk where you have the corner with cubbies
