My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Projected frame around fireplace

How would one build this type of projected frame? My fireplace will be flush to the wall and this looks like a great way to add needed dimension. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks for your question. Honestly, it's as simple as you'd think. We just built a frame of 1.5" or 2" thick material and mounted it to the wall, then tiled inside it. I believe we gave the frame a beveled edge. Happy to give you more detailed direction, but a contractor or millworker should be able to do this. Thanks for the question, Paul
