I have a vessel sink that is going to sit on a glass counter with plywood underneath for extra support. Trying a number of different options to figure out how to have the drain assembly sealing together without water touching the wood.... any ideas? And...which way the gaskets should sit... on line shows putting the ring on top of the glass, running drain through glass and wood and gasket + locknut under the counter...but that would mean water touching wood..wouldn't it?
