Are you wanting to paint over the wallpaper? Or do you have a wall that has no wallpaper?
If you are planning on painting the wallpaper, please don't. Search on discussion on Houzz (paint wallpaper) to see the various reasons why this is not recommended.
If you have a wall without wallpaper, I would suggest you find a paint with metallic accents/sheen and paint it in a similar colour to your wallpaper. You basically want to pump up the light

Your LV has a great Mid Century look, i think to go with that and since you eant to keep your wall paper, i think to lighten it add a lot of white and introduce some of the brighter colors from your LR the pic below is of my small hallway

I was thinking of more wallpaper , a mid century print to match the colors in the painting, Yr thoughts?

The dark wall ton you have in the hallway does not help. I will choose a light earth ton color with a hint of gold that I can see in your hallway runner. It will also compliment the blue walls in the other room. If you need more light in the hallway, wall sconces will be great. They will have to be small to fit the space.
