My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The backspace is made by Encore Ceramics: http://encoreceramics.com. We used a custom blend with the crackle finish. Lots of gorgeous colors available. We are happy to source the tile for you if needed. It is approximately $48/SF.
