Are you keeping the brown tile?

Rip out the entire shower including low ceiling and wall next to tub. Use Glass on tub wall and door side. Sorry, you were asking about tile...a darker travertine would go well. If the budget allows, redo the tub surround also with the same tile. Good luck!

Hello

I would use the tile from ceiling to floor in the shower and get a rimless glass door.

I would go with a lighter large scale tile with brown accents in it.

Best of luck !

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I have to keep these tiles as is. I just don't want the new shower ones clashing

I suggest you hit some tile stores and bring home samples to see what will blend. That's going to be a challenge.

Are you keeping the existing tile around the tub? For the best look, I would replace all the tile with the same product. Maybe a 12" x 24" tile installed horizontally like the image I've attached here. Also, if budget permits, I agree with the comment above in removing the wall between the tub and the shower and simply add a frameless glass panel here. Good luck!

Attached are four completely different renovations we have done for clients. Looking at them might help you decide what you would like in your own remodel.

Thanks all so much for your advice.
